Shield3 Bounty Winners @ Onchain Summer Buildathon 2024

This summer Shield3 joined the Onchain Summer Buildathon offering $10,000 bounties for teams to integrate Shield3 into their app. We received a number of impressive projects, ranging from generative NFT projects to decentralized crypto to fiat ramps.

Winners

Compliant NFT Minting

This project was submitted by Manish Bhattacharya. It uses Shield3 to verify that individuals are not OFAC Sanctioned before allowing them to mint NFTs. This helps keep NFT projects compliant and prevent funding bad actors.

Anglez

Anglez is an NFT project that allows users to generate unique NFTs based on a random seed and a set of parameters. This project was submitted by Volstrate, and uses Shield3 to prevent bad actors from interacting with the application.

Bookiez

Bookiez is a non-custodial decentralized sports betting platform built by Emmanuel Tanumihardja and Shale Ferdana. Bookiez uses Shield3 to block out OFAC sanctioned addresses, Forta labelled scammers, and unknown contract calls.

Siborg Ads

Siborg Ads allow users to purchase Ad Space NFTs and gain exclusive control over key search terms in the app. Users can monetize your ad spaces by displaying their own ads, renting them out, or speculating on their value increase. Siborg Ads uses Shield3 to block out OFAC sanctioned addresses, and verify the user has enough funds before submitting transactions in their Farcaster frame.

Zap

Zap is a project built by the Paycrest team. It uses Biconomy's smart wallet and the Paycrest protocol to facilitate on/off ramp transactions to the user's local currency. Zap uses Shield3 to ensure compliance when ramping funds.
